Synopsis
Jamie, struggling as a bartendar, is trying to raise her troubled teenage sister. So, life is pretty hard to start with. But, things only get worse when she is in a devastating car crash (I don't say accident because it was no accident). Her only chance to live is to go through a top-secret operation, turning her into the 2nd bionic woman. Her boyfriend, who incidently teaches a bioethics class, decides to perform the life-saving operation despite his superior's wishes.
Now, Jamie has new legs, one new arm, and a new eye. Because all of this was done without her permission, she has a hard time grasping everything when she wakes up. After escaping from the compound where the operation took place (with the help of her boyfriend), Jamie tries to get back to a normal life, forgetting about her new body parts. But, as her implants start coming online, she realizes that her life won't be normal.
After encountering another bionic woman (the 1st bionic woman) and witnessing her boyfriend being shot by that bionic woman, Jamie decides to give this bionic thing another try. She is now the new secret weapon for the government. What's in store for her next? Watch and find out.

Boyfriend: I'm thinking Coltrane if its a boy, Billie if its a girl.
(referring to the fact that the boyfriend doesn't have to take part in her child's life)
Jamie: You don't have to do this.
Boyfriend: I'm pretty sure you have to name them.
What made that funny line even more memorable is that it was said right before the big crash. I acutally missed the first part of the crash because I was writing down the line. I don't have that good of a memory, mind you.
I know she had been through a lot, but I think Jamie over reacted the first time she learned her legs were artificial. Plus, how did she have super human power so fast? I thought her implants weren't fully operational right at first. Maybe I missed something.
What's a weird thing to say to someone before you shoot them?
"I love you" of course!
What thought wasn't said? "I love you, but you're a monster."
